Margaret River is about 10km inland. Its beachside suburbs are Prevelly and Gnarabup. They are due west of the town. Properties listed in Margaret River Town are either in the township or the leafy suburbs that surround it.
Margaret River Rural: Properties in this section are not necessarily on farms. There are many Special Rural subdivisions in the district, especially between the Margaret River town and the beach. Some of the properties listed in this category are on these attractive small semi-rural properties.
Cowaramup is a colourful small town 10km north of Margaret River in the centre of the wine region. Gracetown is the beachside village just west of Cowaramup.
Augusta is a beautiful seaside town on the banks of the Blackwood River 47km south of Margaret River.
Busselton and Dunsborough are a similar distance north on Geographe Bay.
Yallingup is in the northern area. Essentially a bayside town with incredible views. Attractive hinterland areas being developed.
Pemberton is a town deep in the tall timber country a 90minute drive south of Margaret River.
Nannup is the next town east of Margaret River. It is a very pretty little town that has its roots in the timber industry. One of the most beautiful roads in the south-west runs from Nannup to Balingup, which is another beautiful south-west town.
