OCEAN VIEW COTTAGES
Located a stones through from the beautiful beach of Hamelin Bay these
cottages offer a wonderful view over the Indian Ocean.
With a bbq on your large verandah these cottages are perfect for cooking and
eating outside on those balmy summer nights.
They have 2 bedrooms and an open plan living/dining area.
They have a queen size bed in one room and 3 single beds (one is a trundle
bed) in the other room. They sleep a maximum of 7 people however
they only cater for 6 people (cutlery/crockery etc).
The bathroom has a shower
and toilet. One of the ocean view cottages has disabled facilities. The
ocean view cottages are equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, full
sized refrigerator, microwave oven, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils.
There
is also a TV, DVD player & CD player in the living area and reverse
cycle air-conditioning for your comfort in summer and winter. Linen
in provided.
Cottages/Cabins are not serviced however fresh linen can be requested from
Reception

PARK CABINS WITH ENSUITES
Park cabins with an ensuite are located amongst the lovely
peppermint trees. They have a verandah at the front; great for just sitting
and watching the world go by. Park cabins with ensuites are a single
long room with a queen bed at one end and a bunk bed at the other. There
is a curtain that pulls around the bunk bed for privacy. They sleep
a maximum of 4 people. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. The cabins
have a gas stove, half size refrigerator, microwave, cutlery, crockery
and cooking utensils. There
is also a TV and dvd player and reverse cycle air-conditioning for your
comfort in summer and winter. The single beds are provided with doonas
and pillows while the queen bed has a heavy bedspread and pillows. Linen
is provided. Cottages/Cabins are not serviced however fresh linen can be requested from Reception.

STANDARD PARK CABINS
Standard park cabins are a single room similar to a caravan. They have
a double bed at one end and 2 sets of bunks at the other end of the cabin. They
sleep a maximum of 6 people. Standard park cabins don’t have
a bathroom so you are required to use the ablution block on site. The
cabins have a microwave, electric frypan, bar fridge, crockery, cutlery
and cooking utensils. They also have a TV for your enjoyment. The single
beds are provided with doonas and pillows while the queen bed has a heavy
bedspread and pillows. Linen is provided for the double bed.
Cottages/Cabins are not serviced however fresh linen can be requested from
Reception. You can
hire linen for the bunk beds or bring your own.

Bday long weekend.
Off peak: May, June, July, Aug, Sept (prior to long weekend)
Minimum stays: Minimum stay 2 nights for weekends, 3 nights
stay for long weekends and 4 nights stay at Easter. During off peak season, 1
night weekend stays are accepted at high peak rates.

All cabins are supplied with washing up liquid and a tea towel.
Linen is supplied for onsite accommodation (except for the standard cabin bunk beds).
The cabins/cottages are not serviced however guests can request fresh linen
from reception when required.
Information
Mobile reception is not available in the park. You may be able to
obtain some reception at the lookout located at the beach.
Water in the park
is sourced from a bore. We recommend boiling or treating before consuming.
Alternatively drinking water is available from the kiosk or you can bring your
own.
Bagged firewood is available
$17 per bag, or bring your own.
Showers for visitors $5.
Free electric bbqs are located throughout the park
Hamelin Bay Holiday Park is located within the Leeuwin Naturaliste National
Park and DEC regulations apply. These regulations include restrictions
on campfires and guidelines for the protection of the environment and wildlife.
There
is a total fire ban between December 14 and April 30. Fires are allowed
in a fire ring between May and November.
FIRES ARE NOT PERMITTED NEAR CABINS/COTTAGES.
Unfortunately, cats and dogs are not allowed.

Kiosk/Reception Hours
May to November 8.30am to 4pm daily
December to April 8.30am to 5pm daily (8.30am to 6pm during Dec/Jan school holidays)
If you arrive outside of these hours please follow instructions on the whiteboard
outside reception.
Credit Cards
We accept all major credit cards (except Diners & Amex)
Ablutions:
We have two ablution blocks located in the park which provide hot
showers.
Only one block is available during winter months.
Laundry facilities are located
behind the ablutions with two coin operated washing machines and one coin operated
clothes dryer in each laundry. There are also clothes lines for your convenience.
We can provide an iron and ironing board on request.
Change for the washing
machines and dryers is available at reception.
