Total ban on rural subdivision proposed (Upload Nov 17, 2004) A proposed new policy that virtually puts an end to rural subdivision throughout the shire gives a keyhole view into the as yet confidential draft District Planning Scheme.
One issue delays District Planning Scheme
(Upload November 11, 2004):The shire is hoping that the Minister for Planning will approve the long-awaited District Planning Scheme for public comment tomorrow.

$4million brewery opens amid an ocean of wine
